FOUTZ MOTOTORSPORTS - GEN 3 F150 RAPTOR MID TRAVEL KIT WITH FABRICATED 4130 UPPER ARM KIT

Our race proven front suspension kit has been tested and proven over and over.  This kit features full 4130 Fabricated Lower and Fabricated Upper Arms, and Frame Mounts.  The suspension geometry has been optimized for great on and off-road driving.  The kit maintains the stock front spindle to keep the costs down but that can be upgraded to our Fabricated Spindle kit later.  The kit is stock Raptor width so no fiberglass required and the factory tie rod will work or you can get a billet tie rod kit upgrade if you want.

The kit will work with the stock factory front coil shock or any aftermarket shock that will fit in the stock location.  That way you can maintain the stock spring tower structure.  Keep the live valve stock shock to keep the budget in line or upgrade the Fox aftermarket live valve coil over shock with adjustable coil height with ease.  

In addition the kit allows you to add a custom 3" external bypass shock that mounts to the lower arm and a top add on shock mount structure that links to the factory spring tower to further strengthen the structure.  The bypass shock is a very specific layout to ensure clearance with even a factory stock Raptor wheel so the shock must be ordered with your kit to ensure correct fit. No other bypass shock will fit with this kit. 

We use FK rod ends and uniballs for our kits to ensure you have the best quality long lasting parts.  We don't compromise on the components so you can have the confidence you need.

This kit will also allow you to install our add on sway bar kit for the front to keep the handling in line.  The new sway bar kit uses race quality components and has been designed to fit with the addition of the extra by-pass shock.  The sway bar kit also adds support to the rear lower a-arm mount that has been inherently weak in stock condition.

Lastly you can add a front bump stop kit to the truck.  The lower arm was designed with bump pad and limit strap mount integrated in.  The system utilizes a 2.5" diameter 2.5" stroke bump stop and is mounted to the frame directly for the ultimate in strength.

This kit can be installed on all versions of Raptor trucks from 2021 to 2024 model.  

Kit Includes 

2 ea Fabricated Lower A-arms with 1.5" uniballs, snap rings, and spacers
2 ea Fabricated Upper A-arms with 1.25" uniballs and 7/8 rod ends and spacers
1 set of Frame mounts for upper shock tower
1 set of limit straps and mounting tabs

POSSIBLE ADD ON PARTS TO CONSIDER:

  • Gen 3 Front Bump stop kit
  • Gen 3 front sway bar kit
  • Billet half or full tie rod kits

Test fit to make sure it connects
When I revived it I thought it had looked a little too small until I compared it, I test fitted it and at first I thought it was a tad bit bigger but realized the more I pushed it in the more it went very tight fit and my car is running healthy. Cheap Replacement
These are an easy replacement for anyone who owns a BMW m52/m54 engine that has PCV issues. My car was burning about 1 quart every 1,000 miles. The parts are direct fit and install fairly easy. If there is resistance, lube the hole or o-ring up with some grease and it will slide in easier. Took me about 2 hours start to finish. My mechanic recommended that I remove the intake manifold to do the job. I don’t see how you could do it without removing the intake manifold. These parts probably won’t last as long as true BMW parts but on a 20 year old car I don’t see the benefit in using genuine BMW parts. Cheap stuff will suffice; worst case it doesn’t last quite as long.

NOT TOO HARD TO INSTALL...
This CCV kit seems adequate. People say that because the hoses supplied with these kits are more brittle than the genuine BMW parts, these are tough to install... But they're really not. The ends on these hoses SWIVEL and you can sort of eyeball which way you need the fitting to be pointing BEFORE you put them on your manifold... They swivel, but they're tight and it takes a little force to turn them. ALSO, a little dab of silicone gel or a spray of silicone out of the can, into the fittings on these makes a world of difference when clicking them on... For the price, I highly recommend the kit.
