This Taylor 414ce Limited Edition pairs a premium Sinker Redwood top with an Indian rosewood back and sides. Due to its extremely limited supply and general difficult procurement methods, Sinker Redwood is typically reserved for top-shelf builds. This material is excavated from the muddy bottoms of the waterways it was lost to during logging ventures of the 1800s. The years at the bottom of riverways creates beautiful striation in the top in addition to warm and bold “cedar-like” tones. This unique 414 model combines Sinker Redwood with legacy Indian Rosewood at an accessible price.

Taylor ES2 electronics with independent volume, bass, and treble controls make this guitar ready for recording or stage work out of the box. The venetian cutaway provides easy upper fret access and completes Taylor's signature Grand Auditorium shape. The Sinker Redwood top is supported with Taylor's V-Class bracing system which increases intonation and sustain. 

This limited edition 414ce includes a hardshell case.
