The ReptiRad advanced reptile heat panel has arrived in North America, and it’s now ETL certified — making it the only certified reptile heat panel available in North America. This certification ensures compliance with strict safety and quality standards, including fire resistance, electrical safety, and overall reliability.
Crafted with a classic galvanized steel design and an ultra-slim 18.5 mm (less than ¾ inch) profile, the ReptiRad delivers powerful, discreet, and space-efficient radiant heat. Each panel is hand-assembled in Italy to guarantee exceptional quality and attention to detail.
At its core is a Fiber Optic Heat Element, surrounded by double silicone insulation and backed with aluminum to ensure heat is directed efficiently downward — not wasted upwards. A 1.5mm galvanized steel back plate and a 1mm coated steel front plate help channel the heat exactly where your animals need it, with only a 2mm gap to ensure optimal thermal radiation. This advanced design results in a dramatic difference between the front-facing and rear heat levels, making it ideal for safe, effective heating.
Key updates in this latest model include a single-piece, 6-foot (2-meter) power cord, eliminating the previous inline connection for a simpler, cleaner installation. Just plug directly into your thermostat of choice — no extra setup required.
