The sink comes with built-in accessories (colander and cutting board) that fit nicely on top of the sink, so you can do your prep work right on top of the sink. The solid cutting board is constructed of sapele wood - a luxurious hardwood that has a beautiful finish and handles water well. It covers the entire sink bowl, thus converting your sink into a countertop when you need. Also included is a 5 in. D stainless steel colander that you can use as a strainer or a drying caddy. The sink features a thick solid 8-Gauge (5 mm T) rim all around that sits top mount on your countertop. The rest of the sink is constructed of 16-Gauge stainless steel, 1 of the thickest steel available for residential kitchens. Awesome and Invaluable Reference

I purchased the 2nd Edition Reprint in 2023. As a former US Army Special Operations Critical Care Flight Medic (160th SOAR Nightstalker) and current Remote Critical Care Flight Paramedic, I can honestly say this handbook is leaps and bounds above some of the other handbooks I've owned.
I never leave home and go to work witout it.
