Designed for mobile filmmakers, the Samson Go Mic Mobile System provides both a dual-channel receiver and a transmitter in the form of a Q8 dynamic handheld transmitter. The receiver, which is dual-channel, can mount directly to your smartphone or DSLR camera, and allow you to transmit 48 kHz audio directly to the destination of your choosing.
The receiver itself plugs directly into iOS devices with the included micro-USB to Lightning cable, though it can also communicate with other devices utilizing either micro-USB or USB-C cables. Once the transmitter and receiver are paired, low-latency audio streams from one to the other without sync issues. The system works at distances of up to 100� line of sight, operating on the 2.4 GHz frequency band, and giving you a frequency response of 10 Hz to 22 kHz for high-quality audio capture.
The Q8 Handheld Transmitter is suitable for performers used to handheld microphones who wish to exhibit freedom of movement in their visual recordings. The system�s rechargeable lithium-ion battery can last up to 12 hours, doing so without draining the battery of your smartphone. Included in the Go Mic Mobile are a 3.5mm headphone/line-out cable for monitoring, as well as a shoe mount adapter.
Note: The Samson Go Mic Mobile offers digital audio compatibility with Android devices running Android 5.0 (Lollipop) or later that allow USB digital audio connectivity. Not all Android applications support USB audio, and you may need to download a third-party app to use this feature. Analog connectivity via the included 1/8" (3.5mm) cable is offered as an alternative solution.

Nice hose filter for filling hot tubs
Style: Standard Filter
I bought this for filling up my hot tub. It does the trick. Straight tap water was difficult to balance the ph and keep it stable. When I fill the hot tub using the filter, the water is more balanced and easier to maintain. I used it for two 390gal refills before I noticed it was getting slower, so ordered another one. I haven’t used it for drinking water so can’t comment on the taste. It does seem to help with hardness though.

Awesome filter! Nasty campground water no longer...
Style: Standard Filter
I have run these for years in my RV and they work killer! Here's some more in-depth thoughts:
Pros:
- These work better than I had expected. Just hook them up to the water source, hook your hose to it, run it to your trailer and viola` clean and good tasting water. Some of the places we have visited have had water that I wouldn't feed to my worst enemy. With this thing attached, it's very good tasting.
- I like the hose attachment that comes with this to aide in adding flexibility to the system and not put too much strain on the system. I have bought so many of these, I now use one attaching the filter to the nozzle, one out of the filter to my hose, and one attaching my hose to the trailer.
Notes:
- I will note that the manufacturer suggesting using these for only 1 camping season, and this makes sense. That's what I do, and it seems to work out great. It's not too much $ to replace every season.
- Another note, when first putting this filter into service (just the first time of the season, subsequent hook-ups wont do this) there will be a bunch of carbon (black in the water) that comes out of the faucet in your trailer. This is perfectly fine, safe, and of no issue. This is the filter breaking in and getting the extra carbon out of the system. There is no health concern with this happening. I just run the faucet until it clears up, and then we're good to go for the rest of the season.
- Last note, when we unhook from our camping spot, I swing the filter in my hand with my arm extended (using centrifugal force, not centrifical, look it up) to get the residual water out of the filter so it doesn't sit in there and spoil. I do this until I get most of the water drops to stop, leave it out on the counter to dry, and boom, it's perfect the next time.
Cons:
- None to report
Overall this filter does a great job taking care of some seriously nasty campground water that we've encountered all over the Southwest US. I cannot recommend it any higher.
